Keep An Eye on:

Victor Wembanyama: is pretty much anytime the Spurs play first and foremost the focus of opposing teams. The 7'3 first time all star is as complete a player there is in the NBA....on BOTH ends. Wembanyama comes in to tonight's battle with the Wizards averaging 24.3 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, a league leading 3.9 blocks and 1.1 steals per game on 47.4 percent from the field, 35 percent from deep and 84 percent from the line. He's a one man wrecking crew that the Wizards will have to deal with strategically, yet, fearlessly.

Backcourt Battle: between the Wizards Bub Carrington and Jordan Poole and the Spurs Chris Paul and De'Aarom Fox is something to definitely keep an eye on. The leadership, playmaking and experience of Chris Paul along with the dynamic ability of De'Aaron Fox is a tough challenge for anyone, let alone, Poole and the rookie Carrington. It will start on the defensive end, keeping both in check not only with their scoring, where as a duo, CP3 and Fox average a combined 34 points per game, but also limiting their playmaking, with the Spurs backcourt averaging a combined 17 assist to a combined 4 turnovers per game. Smart shot selection from Poole and Carrington taking shots from his spots in the midrange will not only help them out defensively, but will help keep Paul and Fox at bay by making them work defensively.
