Keep An Eye On:

Defense: as usual. Washington, it's no getting around it, is one of the worst teams defensively in the league. Currently, Washington is 28th in the NBA in defensive rating with a rating of 118.6 and dead last in the NBA in points allowed, allowing 126.2 points per game. The opposition is shooting 49 percent the field, 38 percent from 3-point range and 90 percent from the line. The Wizards simply have to fight more and fight consistently. Let's start there. Great thing is, it can't get any worse.

Defend The Three: is a must in todays NBA, yet, even more so against the Miami Heat. Miami ranks seventh in the NBA in three point percentage, converting 37.6 percent from deep per game. The Heat have eight players that shoot between 35 percent or better. Washington will not only have to contest consistently, they will have to close out with purpose to prevent a high percentage of three point makes from the Heat. Without doing so, Miami will bomb them into submission from deep.

Rebound: rebound, rebound, REBOUND!!!
