Keep an eye on:

Ja Morant: I GET IT...DUH. First time All Star, MVP candidate, averaging 25.9 points, 7 assists and 6.1 rebounds on 48 percent shooting from field, 35 percent shooting from deep and 76 percent from the line. Everything starts with Morant for Memphis offensively where his athleticism, skill and I.Q. allows him to dissect opposing defenses, and once you add in Memphis tenacious defense where they rank 8th in defensive rating (108.6), first in steals (10.2) and first in blocks (6.4), it allows Morant an opportunity to fully control the game. Washington did a great job of holding Morant down back in November in a 115-87 win over Memphis. Morant was held to 4-17 shooting from the field. Look for Washington to try and duplicate that same performance tonight.

Washington's Pride: after their embarrassing loss to the Clippers where they literally became the subject of constant bashing, ridicule and jokes, it's only up from here. Against a tough Grizzlies team, it's about pride and playing with a sense urgency at this point. It's on the players to take things personally and change things around.
