Keep an eye on:

3-point Shooting: in this era is something to keep an eye on always, however, it especially applies to the Pacers. Indiana shot 36 percent from deep in their season opening loss to Charlotte and were led by Domantas Sabonis and talented rookie Chris Duarte who BOTH shot 66 percent from deep against Charlotte. Pacers point guard Malcolm Brogdon is a career 38 percent shooter and shot 38 percent from 3-point range during the 20-21 season. Washington has to be locked in at all times with these three on the floor due to them being capable of catching fire from 3-point territory and blowing the game wide open. They did a great job against Toronto, holding them to 7-34 shooting from deep. That same attention to detail will be needed in tonight's contest.

Turnovers: there were a lot of bright spots for Washington in their season opening win over Toronto. Taking care of the ball wasn't one of them. Washington turned the ball over 22 times and the Raptors scored 17 points off those 22 turnovers. Five players turned it over three or more times. Cleaning that up will take away extra possessions away from the opponents and will play right into Washingtons hands with efficient offense and intense, swarming defense.
