Nets:
Keep an eye on: Kevin Durant: I know I KNOW, not exactly rocket science, BUT, everything with the Nets start and end with KD. Despite Brooklyn's struggles through their first three games, Durant has elevated his game. KD is averaging 33 points, 10.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1 block per game on 56 percent shooting from the field. He's impacting the game in every aspect. The scary thing is he isn't fully on his game shooting efficiency wise. So far this season, he's shooting 31 percent from deep and 83 percent from the charity stripe which is well below his 50/40/90 standard. All eyes from Washington has to be on Durant all night or he will explode and win the game by himself.
Attack: the Nets relentlessly, especially in transition. Brooklyn has struggled in the half court defensively and with slowing down opponents in transition. The Nets are allowing 115.7 points a game which is 20th in the NBA, they're 24th in defensive rating at 115.2 and they are tied for 28th in the league in opponents points off turnovers, allowing 23.3 points per game. As dangerous as the Nets are offensively, they're nearly as vulnerable defensively.
