Keep an eye on:
Home Cooking: is a major factor in tonight's contest between the Wizards and Hawks. Washington handled business last Thursday defeating Atlanta 122-111 in a balanced attack led by Brad Beal, who finished with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and Montrezl Harrell, who posted 25 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. The Wizards held Atlanta to 28.6 percent shooting from deep as a team, with Trae Young, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Cam Reddish combining to shoot 3-14 from 3-point territory. Atlanta as a whole has struggled greatly on the road to start the season. In four road games, the Hawks are shooting 42.9 percent from the field, 29.9 percent from deep and 70.8 percent from the free throw line which has resulted in a 1-3 road record at this point. I note all of this to say the Hawks are a totally different animal at home and Washington has to approach tonights game as such. At home, Atlanta is 2-0 and they're shooting 49.5 percent from the field, 40.3 percent from 3-point range and 86.7 percent from the free throw line. Put it simply this young but talented team is a lot more confident at State Farm Arena behind their home crowd. Washington's defense definitely needs to travel for them to be in position to leave with their sixth win.
