I had the chance to catch up with local standout and Washington Wizards lottery pick Carlton "Bub" Carrington at the Wizards 2024 Draft Picks Introductory Press Conference. Carrington detailed his growth physically over his one year at Pittsburgh under the Panthers well respected strength and conditioning coach Vincent Williams, how playing on and off the ball with the emergence of fellow freshman guard Jaland Lowe impressed NBA evaluators even more and the advice he would give to high school players who are under the radar like he was, hoping to one day be in his shoes as an NBA player.
