Injury:

Mystics:  Brittney Sykes (Out, Ankle)

Sparks: Rae Burrell (Game Time Decision/ Illness), Azura Stevens (Out, Undisclosed)

Keep an eye on:

Rookie Duel: between Aaliyah Edwards and the Sparks first round pick Cameron Brink. Edwards comes in averaging 7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks on 44 percent shooting from the field while Brink is averaging 7 points, 5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks on 40 percent shooting from deep. With key injuries to the front courts of each team currently, Edwards and Brinks will be counted on tonight heavily to help their respective teams earn their first win of the season. Whichever rookie rises to the occasion, definitely, propels their team to a win. Stay tuned.....

Cleaning up the little things: is a must for the Mystics and is the main reason why they're 0-3. Washington ranks 7th in field goal percentage (42.4%), 8th in turnovers per game (16.0) and dead last in rebounds per game (30.3).

To make matters worse, the Mystics struggle converting lay-ups, with only three players shooting 50 percent or better from 3-10 feet. Taking care of the ball, rebounding and being more efficient scoring inside the paint will right the ship for Washington.
