Keep an eye on:
Arike Ogunbowale: I believe will come out with a VENGEANCE tonight after a subpar performance in the Wings season opener. Ogunbowale finished with 7 points and 5 rebounds on 3-14 shooting from the field (21.4%), 1-5 shooting from deep (20%) and six turnovers. This is a career 19.7 points per game scorer we're talking about, so to be that inefficient and score that low amount of points, I'm sure has her motivated to get back on track. Washington has to be ready, she's fully capable of exploding at anytime and making things tough.
Balanced Attack: from the Mystics is just what the doctor ordered to be in a good position to win their fourth game to start the season. Last game against the Aces, Washington settled for a lot of jumpers, specifically 3-pointers(16 attempted), and the Aces made them pay as Washington trailed at the half 49-36. In the second half, the Mystics attacked the paint more, which ultimately, opened up easier shots from the outside. Washington outscored Las Vegas 20-8 in the paint, shot 51.4 percent from the field (38.5% in the first half), 45.5 percent from deep (25% in the first half), shot 12-14 from the free throw line (2-3 in the first half) and as a result, ran away from the Aces, 53-27 to claim victory. If Washington has this type of balance offensively, they should be 4-0 later tonight.
