George Washington Starts The Season Off Strong With Rout Of Stonehill

George Washington redshirt freshman Garrett Johnson knocks down one of his five 3-pointers in the Colonials dominant win over Stonehill

R-Freshman Garrett Johnson finished with a game high 21 points on 8-10 shooting and tied for a game high 9 rebounds while R- Sophomore Max Edwards added 19 points and 7 rebounds on 7-11 shooting (5-8 from deep) to lead George Washington to a dominant 89-44 win over Stonehill.

GW held Stonehill to 7-40 from the field and 3-20 from deep. The Colonials ended the game having locked up Stonehill to 15-70 from the field and 5-33 from three point range.
