George Washington cruises to 74-52 win over UMass

Revolutionaries point guard Christian Jones put together another strong all around effort in a win over Massachusetts; finishing with a game high 17 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 4 steals


Redshirt freshman Christian Jones scored a game-high 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field and dished out a game-high five assists, while center Rafael Castro added a 13 points, 11 rebounds double double to lead George Washington to a blowout win over UMass 74-52.


After George Washington built a 33-25 halftime lead, thanks in large part to 11 first half points from Christian Jones, the Buff and Blue started the second half on an 11-2 run, while holdiing the Minutemen to 1-7 shooting during that span, and never looked back, running away with a convincing win.
