Keep an eye on:

Front Court Battle: of Brittney Griner and DeWanna Bonner. They are arguably the best in the WNBA. In a win over the Atlanta Dream, Griner was dominant, posting 31 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocks on 11-15 shooting which included two clutch free throws with 3.1 seconds left. Bonner didn’t shoot well against the Dream (11 points, 3-15 FG), yet, she made up for it in other ways. Bonner grabbed a game high 14 rebounds and held Dream forward Elizabeth Williams to 4 points on 2-10 shooting. Combined, the duo average nearly 40 points and 16 rebounds per game this season. That’s more than half of Phoenix’s offensive production. With Delle Donne likely out, Washington’s front line will have to bring it on both ends, especially coming off being dominated inside by LA’s Nneka Ogwumike, who finished with 31 points and 10 rebounds on 11-15 shooting. Latoya Sanders, Tianna Hawkins and Myisha Hines-Allen combined for 17 points and 13 rebounds on 7-22 shooting in the loss to Los Angeles. Being physical and efficient as a trio is a must if the Mystics are to get back on the winning track.
