Keep an eye on:

Rebounding: is a devastating advantage for Connecticut against the rest of the WNBA, The Sun, is tops in the league averaging 37.2 rebounds per game and have four players averaging 5.5 rebounds or more. Washington averages 31.2 rebounds per game, ranking 10th in the WNBA. The Mystics will have their worked cut out for them controlling the boards against the Sun and they will need more than Delle Donne's team leading 6.8 rebounds and Latoya Sanders 5.3 rebounds, to do so. In the match-up between these two teams on June 3rd, the Sun routed the Mystics 88-64, winning the rebounding battle 45-31. In their second contest on the 13th, Washington held on to defeat Connecticut 95-91, this time, Washington held the rebounding edge 34-33. Simple, who controls the boards more than likely walk out victorious.

Courtney Williams: Williams has had her way with Washington, averaging 21 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3 assist on 47 percent shooting including a 34 points performance on June 13th. She has been the spark plug for the Sun when facing Washington. The Mystics will have to contain her if they want to take control of first place in the east standings and have a 2-1 record against the Sun that will have major playoff implications later in the season. Expect Williams to see a wave of Mystics defenders.
