Johnson-Agwu 33 Points Leads PGCC To A 136-99 Win Over Westmoreland County CC


PGCC sophomore forward Patrick Johnson-Agwu #10 was dominant finishing with 33 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assist

It was over before it began as PGCC (2-3) would dominate Westmoreland County Community College (4-3), winning 136-99. The Owls led from start to finish, jumping out to a 22-9 lead to start and continuing to build the lead from there on. Sophomore forward Patrick Johnson-Agwu was unstoppable, finishing with 33 points (16-19 FG), 7 rebounds, 3 asssist and 2 blocks while freshman guard Jared Warrick, thanks to a season high eight 3-pointers, added 27 points. Warricks eight 3-pointers was one off the PGCC single game record of nine. Sophomore guard Lavonte Sanders despite being in foul trouble, contributed 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assist for the Owls.

WCCC was led by sophomore guard Reuben Edwards who finished with 25 points.

PGCC will hit the road Tuesday Nov 24. to face Frederick Community College. Tip is at 7pm.

Freshman guard Jared Warrick was unconscious from deep, knocking down 8 of 16 from 3-point range almost breaking PGCC's single game record for 3-pointers made which is nine.
