It wasn't a pretty game for the Washington Wizards, however the results went as expected. John Wall would come up big in the clutch, hitting a runner to give the Wizards a 88-87 win over the Orlando Magic. It's obvious that the new offensive system is a work in progress, but the signs point to a more efficient deadly offensive attack for the Wizards once the team gets acclimated. Regardless, at the end of the day, their defense will dictate how much they elevate in the eastern conference. Wall finished with 22 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assist and 5 blocks while Brad Beal added 24 points and 6 rebounds to pace the Wizards. The Magic were led by Victor Oladipo who finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds while Tobias Harris contributed 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assist.
