Remember Them Days - Duke Forward Grant Hill Dunks On Wake Forest Center Tim Duncan

Before Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Paul Pierce, even youngsters like Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker, there was Grant Hill. If it wasn't for the injuries in the NBA, the NBA history books would look a whole lot different. To say Hill was special is an understatement. Two time NCAA Champion, ACC Player of the Year, Consensus First Team All American and the first ACC player EVER to finish with more than 1,900 points, 700 rebounds, 400 assist, 200 steals and 100 blocked shots for his career. Like I said Hill was special and in a match-up against Wake Forest and their new freshman center Tim Duncan, who had pro scouts full attention from the moment he walked on Wake Forest campus, Hill would show just how special he was. Duke guard Chris Collins would hand off the ball to Hill. Hill would then take full advantage of a clear lane to the basket, elevating strong for a two hand dunk over Duncan that even won the Wake Forest crowd over. It was these type of plays that would make Hill the No. 3 pick in the 1994 NBA Draft and the cornerstone for the Detroit Pistons moving forward. Check out the message sending play from Hill below.
