Even with the Wizards success this season, DC got a nice view Wednesday night of why there's so much talk about Kevin Durant coming home in 2016. To put it simply, Durant put on a show very few in the NBA are capable of doing. Durant finished with 34 points (10-23 FG), 7 rebounds and 3 assist in a 105-103 overtime victory over the Washington Wizards. Durant's partner in crime Russell Westbrook finished with 32 points (12-28 FG), 8 rebounds and 8 assist. Well aware of all of the hoopla surrounding his impending free agency in 2016, Durant downplayed things " I tried not to let that overshadow it, being home in front of my friends and family, you only get this opportunity once. I was just happy I got to play in front of them, and seeing my brother courtside and all my family, it was cool to get a win in front of them. Everybody was here, so I tried to focus on them and not worry about all that other stuff." Wizards point guard John Wall finished with 18 points 13 assist and 6 rebounds while Nene added 24 points and 4 rebounds.
